My History

My interest in writing a novel that takes place in Russia and in Israel began ten years ago. Having inherited a box of family photos and documents dating back from late nineteenth century Russia, I thought about the place that drove my ancestors to America in the early 1920s and my cousins to Israel in the second half of the century. I could tell from these photos that these were ordinary people living in extraordinary times...
